Lover boy Mongo is a 7-8 year old neutered male Wire-Haired Fox Terrier Mix. He would love to be a lap dog for someone. He is good with most dogs except for small toy breed dogs with lots of hair. I think they are like a little to rodent for him. He will stalk them and try to grab them with his mouth. Mongo also is very obsessive with cats and will try to stalk them. The limited interaction he has with them he will freeze when he gets close, however I would not trust him off leash with cats and would recommend a home that does not have any cats. He will guard food from other dogs and is crated when he is fed. He knows how to check the fence for escape routes. I wouldnt trust him outside unattended. He will certainly knows how to dig under a fence. He may be responsive to an invisible fence but I cant say with 100% certainty. A regular fence is preferred. Mongo LOVES chasing water out of a hose and enjoys playing in the baby pool in the summer. HE loves going for car rides. He is typically very good with people. He is a very good house guest. Just loves being with someone and very much enjoys his snuggle time. Mongo is really wanting a nice quiet home of his own. His perfect home would be with adults that want a lover boy lap dog. He is a fairly active dog, so getting him out for exercise will be necessary but when he is in the house he is happy to nap on the couch or bed or follow me around the house.
